Skin Case

I'm doing my dermatology attachment now and it'll be 4-month duration. I think it's good that you can be rotated to different subspecialties and to strengthen your clinical experience on that particular field. For most physicians, dermatological diseases are diagnostically challenging and consultation to skin specialist are usually needed.I got this referral the other day and I think it's

inspiration from tim ferriss

I've got tears in my eyes while reading this. We all get trapped up by thinking big. We like to dream. And then tell ourselves quietly that our dreams are impossible. I do it myself. Read this and start where you are. Who knows?
May your day be filled with the Magic Medicine of seeing what is right in front of you.

mostly vegan

My new way of eating had me feeling very virtuous. Shame on me and my ego.
I looked this morning at my Vitamin B12 and it has LACTOSE in it. Oh my.
But in the interest of the middle way, I've been eating anything I want 1 day a week: sugar, meat, cheese whatever.
So I guess I can live with the lactose until I find another sublingual supplement that doesn't have a milk substance in it.
Meanwhile I am relishing the multi-vegetable soup I have been eating almost daily with tofu sometimes for lunch. It's delish. And I just bought a great little Zen like bowl with chopsticks for the office, so I can eat my meal beautifully as well as mindfully.
Such a simple thing lunch.
May your day be filled with the magic medicine of joyful food and mindful meals.

vegan for a week!

If you've read this blog before, you know I have been wanting to go vegan for some time. Tumbling the idea around in my mind, a meal or two at a time. But this last week, while immersed in a spring yoga cleanse with Sara Trelease at Om Yoga in NYC, I was actually able to do it! YAY for me.
Only a week, because I consciously gave myself a day off, and then back to it. Not so much a reward, but a way of making things easy, and accessible.
Just a few weeks ago I'd been talking to a woman at a evening kirtan and she said she was mostly vegan. I really like the thought of mostly. It has elasticity in it.
So now I'm mostly vegan a week at a time. Which is definitely a jump up from a meal at a time. See how small steps work? No beating oneself over the head. Just tiny little movements that add up over time.
Want to learn more about how small steps can fuel your life, your goals, your creativity? Drop me a line.
May your day be filled with the Magic Medicine of less meat in your body and more sustenance in your life.
