Crazy Busy Happy But Where'd The Weekend Go?

You know this feeling! So engaged the time flies. Even laundry is going faster than normal. Why can't that happen at work all week?
That's me up there, looking more serene from a calmer weekend. This is always a busy time of year for me. My birthday is approaching. My 3 week Omega Artist in Residency starts next week. My niece always visits from Isreal over the summer. And I imagine the bursting energy of Spring gets under my skin and has to get out.
This week it's the lilacs and the crab apple tree. Last week the magnolia was magnficent. Violets are popping up everywhere in the lawn. The spiders are back. Bees and wasps and ants are circling indoors and out.
I'm in the middle of sending out art submissions, pulling together a proposal for a catalog workshop for Omega, and a bonus cd of pics for my book. Oh, and I've got to run over to my antique store booth to pay rent and check on things.
This week's inspiration comes from my thrift shopping obsession. I sold my first pair of pants! Marc Jacobs - darling. I bought them for $15, sold them for $25. It would have been $30 but I hadn't gotten a chance to wash them.
So I'm going to be putting together an email list for Thriftzilla - my thrift store alter ego. And here's my promise: You don't need new clothes! You just need Thriftzilla. Personal shopping with a passion for price, people and the planet. Send me your size and I'll scoop up the best for you, your friends and mine! Recycle, repurpose, rejoice with style.
Hey, fashion is Magic Medicine too!
May your days be filled with Magic Medicine.
