Oh, I hate to admit it, but it feels like weeks since I've done anything remotely creative. But here's the thing. When we get into a bit of a groove with creative habits, we start overlooking them. They become routine like everything else.
And then of course, there's the natural ebb and flow of life. Practices by nature are repetitive, and the more we do them, the better. But absolute consistency isn't necessary. It's the long haul that matters.

And it helps, like it does in all things, to be mindful of what's getting in our way. Is it avoidance, or just a too busy schedule? What tiny thing might we do or make that would break the pattern, mix things up? Sometimes it's just a matter of reminding ourselves of an on-going project that's fallen by the wayside. We don't need to make Herculean efforts; a little goes a long way.
I'm going to follow my own advice, and just tie one more found object onto an assemblage in the making.
May your day be filled with Magic Medicine.
