Saturday is Laundry Day

In an effort to blog and inspire you more consistently - I'm taking my lead from Gretchen over at the Happiness Project - and creating themes for the week.
Every Saturday is laundry day in my life. And because laundry has a certain balance of mindfulness and repitition, it can be a kind of meditation.
As readers of this blog may know, I've used lint from my dryer for years in a variety of art making projects. When I Googled dryer lint art today, I found more inspiration than I have in previous years. Take a look at this.
I also make sacred dolls and funky balls out of dryer lint. The balls are particularly satisfying to make. Just take a bunch of lint, add a little water, roll and scrunch. Then leave to dry. They're a little irregular when made this way, but a small collection of them looks beautiful in a wooden bowl. Try it!
